Muslims will be celebrating the important festival of Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday 8th August or Friday, 9 August, 2013 depending on the sighting of the Moon.
It is a wholesome celebration of the remarkable achievement of the individual Muslim in the service of God. It comes after an entire month of abstention from food, drink or indulging in conjugal relations from dawn to sunset, while engaging in additional prayer, increasing deeds of charity and devoting time for serious introspection.
The celebrations begin with an act of worship, which is the required communal prayer and thereafter with families and friends get togethers, forgive past mistakes and rekindle bonds for the coming year as a “better person.”
To help our team to celebrate this auspicious day with their families, we will be closing our offices as follows;
Close : 13h00 on Wednesday 7th August 2013
Reopen : Monday 12th August 2013
On behalf of the SANHA Executive, Management, Staff, Certified Plants, well-wishers and supporters we wish all Muslims Eid Mubarak, our Non-Muslim friends peace and look forward to be of service to you after the celebrations. |
